- The first thing to know about this mode is simple; try to avoid playing it if you aren’t with a squad already. This is the most common mode to run into truly organized squads and it can be an almost embarrassing encounter, should you not be with a squad yourself. Once you are on a squad, it’s very important to have at least one teammate using Flak Jacket Pro, as you can always expect hundreds of explosives to come flying towards the objective. Many prefer to have two players using it, just to speed things up, but be sure to have at least one. A Radar Jammer near the objective can help out also, as it will disable all other enemy equipment. You will also want a Hacker, since you’re bound to see quite a few Claymores or other equipment.
The rest of the team should cover the above players and try to keep the enemy team outside of the firing range of the Flak Jacket players. Should the enemy team happen to have a spawn point near the objective, it’s usually worth it to attempt to push them out of that spawn, or they’ll have an easier time controlling the headquarters for that round of points. I’m sure I’ll catch a lot of hate for this, but a Noob-Tube can come in handy for this mode as well, as 2 well placed shots will take down an entire team at the head-quarters if they aren’t wise enough to use Flak Jacket Pro themselves.
Once you control the headquarters, everyone should spread out and work out choke points to stop the other team from disabling the objective. Because you do not respawn while you control the objective, it’s important that you make your life count for as long as possible. Find a spot with lower visibility, and keep tabs on which route the enemy is likely to come from. If you see the objective begin flashing, chuck a flash bang in that direction along with a grenade or two if you have them, then clean out what’s left while your enemies are weakened.
